INCLUSION REVOLUTION BOARD GAME

I am proud to have contributed to The Friendship Circle of Montreal's Inclusion Revolution board game during the Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month (JDAIM). This project was not just about design; but about fostering understanding, empathy, and a sense of belonging.

Designed as part of the Inclusion Revolution initiative, the board game aimed to raise awareness about disability and promote inclusion within the community. The challenge was creating an engaging and educational experience that could join people during a month dedicated to celebrating diversity.

The result was a rewarding collaboration where groups gathered to play, learn, and connect. The interactive nature of the board game encouraged meaningful conversations about inclusion, breaking down barriers, and celebrating the unique strengths of each participant. The board featured vibrant visuals that reflected the spirit of the Inclusion Revolution and carefully crafted game mechanics that encouraged teamwork. Every design element was intentional and purposeful.

Being part of a project that contributed to diversity and inclusion was not just professionally fulfilling; it was a reminder of the positive impact design can have on fostering community understanding and harmony. This experience continues to fuel my commitment to creating designs that not only communicate visually but also contribute to a more inclusive and compassionate world.

WILDER PENFIELD ELEMENTARY YEARBOOK

I led a parent committee from Wilder Penfield's graduating class, to create a vibrant, neon graffiti-inspired design theme. This project required extensive collaboration and coordination to bring the vision to life.

Key responsibilities included data collection and photos to gather relevant data and content for the yearbook, including student and faculty profiles, school events, and extracurricular activities.

Each committee member researched and designed their assigned pages, after which I carefully edited page layouts to maintain consistency. This involved selecting vibrant color palettes, dynamic typography, and eye-catching imagery that captured the energy and spirit of the school community.

The final yearbook was a resounding success, receiving praise from the school administration and the families for its visually striking and engaging design. This project showcased my ability to lead a team, manage a complex creative process, and deliver a polished, on-brand product that exceeded the client's expectations.
